In fact, it is a liquid wax extracted from the seeds of a North American shrub, primarily cultivated in the desert regions of the southwestern United States and Mexico. It is rich in waxy esters, monounsaturated fatty acids (notably omega-9), vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and K, as well as powerful antioxidants like vitamin E.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIts chemical composition, very similar to human sebum, allows it to penetrate the skin easily without greasiness or clogging pores.
